This years Mega-Event will once again include the following:
- First Day Issue Ceremonies

- U.N. Postal Administration -
On October 8, 2009 at 11:30am, The United Nations Postal Administration will release its “Indigenous People” the issue will consist of three mini sheets of six stamps; the stamps were designed by Stephen Bennett an American Portrait Painter. The all-new 2009 annual collection folders will also be released on the same day.

At 12:30pm October 8th the United States Postal Service will release its Winter Holiday Stamps, a block of four depicting reindeer, snowmen, gingerbread men, and a nutcracker. Speakers on the First Day program will be available at a autographing session immediately following the conclusion of the program.

On Friday October 9th The United States Postal Service will release two new issues. The Hanukkah Menorah Stamps at 12 noon and at 1:00pm the new Kwanzaa Stamp.

All of the ceremonies will take place in the Sutton Place Suite located on the third floor of the New Yorker Hotel, 481 Eighth Avenue, New York NY 10001.

The American Stamp Dealers Association, Inc. has designed three show cards one for each of the USPS First Day Releases that will take place at the Fall Postage Stamp Mega Event. The cards are in full color each with a reproduction of the stamp issue, Winter Holidays block of four, the Menorah Stamp and the Kwanzaa Stamp.
