Mrs. Alma Benedict - ASDA's Philatelic Educator of the Year!
The ASDA is happy to announce that Alma Benedict, from Edmond Oklahoma, is the recipient of the “ASDA Philatelic
Educator of the Year” Award for 2006. Out of all the nominations which the ASDA received, it was hers, sent in by Joe Crosby, Chairman of OKPEX 2006, that truly captured the meaning behind this award.
Alma was presented her award by Joe Crosby and Kirk McKenzie, ASDA member and owner of Oklahoma Stamps, at the
OKPEX 2006 Awards Breakfast on November 4, 2006 in Oklahoma City. Alma was joined by friends, family as well as Dalton Helms and Weston Davis, both participants in her stamp collecting club.
The American Stamp Dealers Association, Inc., and all its members, would like to thank Alma for her dedication and time spent promoting the hobby of philately especially through stamp education.
